Growth on the agenda for 2018 NCS event

With the convenience channel forecast to grow by almost 18% [IGD], to hit a value of £47bn, April 2018’s National Convenience Show is aiming to help convenience stores, independent retailers, symbol groups, off licences and wholesalers with all the tools required to take advantage of the opportunities the growth offers.

The show, taking place at the NEC, Birmingham from 16-18 April, will see suppliers joined by leading experts to help the UK’s retailers to increase footfall and cash in on increased basket spend.

The best of NPD plus new technology and services, PoS support and cutting-edge payment processes will all feature. Companies set to exhibit include: Htec, TLM Group, My Coffee Station, Fifo Wireless, Kind Snacks, Protein Water, Nestle, Us 4 Slush, Battle Oats, Vow Retail and Blue Ice Machines.

The National Convenience Show will also present the industry with opportunities to learn about the latest consumer trends and receive advice from successful retailers and leading entrepreneurs. The Retailer Hub also returns, bringing together leading suppliers, store owners and industry analysts who will share their experience with visitors.

The annual Association of Convenience Stores (ACS) Summit will also run at the event on Tuesday, 17 April. The conference sessions will highlight future opportunities within the sector and provide key insights for retailers.
