Post Office scoops international customer service award

12 June 2017

Last week the Post Office was awarded the prize for Customer Service at the World Post and Parcel Awards in Paris.

he awards, which have now been running for 18 years, recognise organisations working in mails and express which are embracing change, meeting challenges and making the most of opportunities. This was the Post Office’s first win since separating from Royal Mail.

PO won the Customer Service category, which recognises the work done in network transformation – particularly our longer opening hours, far reaching network (99.7% of the population live within 3 miles of the Post Office), and low customer wait times.

"This award really recognises the hard work that has gone into providing a service for our customers which is truly world class!" said a PO spokeswoman. "Thank you to all Post office people for working so tirelessly to be better for our customers and providing an award winning service."
