Royal Mail's Xmas posting days kick in today

It's that time of year again - Christmas will soon be upon us, and today (September 27) is the last recommended posting day for International Economy items to all non-European destinations (except Canada, Far East, Middle East, South Africa, USA).

 Make sure that your customers' gifts and cards arrive at their destination by reading our handy guide (PDF attached) to Chrismas posting dates from Royal Mail for the UK and abroad - and don't forget to get them in the post on time.

UK mail

 Tuesday, December 19 – 2nd class post and Royal Mail signed for 2nd class post, also Royal Mail 48

Wednesday, December 20 - 1st class post and Royal Mail signed for 1st class post, also Royal Mail Tracked 48 and 24

Thursday, December 21 – Royal Mail Special Delivery Guaranteed, and Tracked 24

Friday, December 22 - Royal Mail Special Delivery Saturday Guaranteed

 In the UK, there are no deliveries or collections on Christmas Day, Boxing Day, or New Year’s Day. Additionally, there are no deliveries or collections in Scotland on January 2.

Wednesday, December 13 – Czech Republic, Germany, Italy and Poland.

Thursday, December 14 – Canada, Finland, Sweden and the USA.

Friday, December 15 – Austria, Denmark, Iceland, Netherlands, Norway, Portugal, Slovakia, Spain and Switzerland.

Saturday, December 16 – Belgium, France, Ireland and Luxembourg.
