How do I join?
Membership is open to all subpostmasters. We also offer Associate Membership for retired subpostmasters, and subpostmasters’ business or life partners who are registered Post Office clerks.

To join just complete and return the relevant membership application form:
- Full membership form
- Associate membership form for retired subpostmasters
- Associate membership form for business or life partners

How much does membership cost?
Full membership
The rate you pay for depends on your Post Office salary. As of 1 June 2009, the two subscription rates for standard NFSP membership are:
Higher rate: £15.93 per month (£191.16 per year) for offices with an annual salary of £8,498.01 or above.
Lower rate: £4.57 per month (£54.84 per year) for offices with an annual salary of £8,498.00 or below.

Associate membership
Retired subpostmasters pay 15% of the higher rate of full membership.
Subpostmasters’ business or life partners pay 25% of the rate applicable to the full member’s office.
