Front office for government
The NFSP is calling on all parts of government across the UK to deliver on ministers’ pledge to use our post offices as ’the front office for government’.

All Party Parliamentary Group (APPG)
Information about the All Party Parliamentary Group (APPG) for post offices. The APPG is made up of MPs and peers of all parties, and is an active voice in parliament for the post office network. The NFSP provides the Secretariat for the APPG.

Six Steps
In our Six Steps to a Sustainable Post Office Network report, we set out our calls for action in six key areas to deliver a sustainable future for the network. The report formed the basis of our campaigning throughout 2009 and 2010.

Post Office card account (POCA)
Launched in May 2008, our POCA campaign saw over three million postcards signed by Post Office customers and sent to MPs, backed by posters on display in every post office highlighting the threat posed if POCA were lost. As a result of our campaign in November 2008, the government cancelled the tender process and awarded the contract to Post Office Ltd to continue providing the POCA until 2015.
